Terms of Use

1. Eligibility (18+ only)

Wooing is for adults 18 years or older. You must be 18+ to create an account or use the App. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a user is under 18, report it to our Grievance Officer with details and we will investigate and delete the account if confirmed. You represent that all information you provide is true, including your age.

2. The Site

The Site is a marketing and waitlist experience. Features shown are illustrative. Availability, cities, and launch timing may change.

3. Waitlist

By submitting your email you ask us to contact you about Wooing’s launch. You must provide an address you control. You may request removal from the waitlist by emailing us.

4. Accounts and authentication

Accounts are created with phone (India +91) or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping credentials secure. Do not share, sell, or transfer accounts. One person may not maintain multiple accounts. You must not re-register after a ban.

5. User content and license

You own your content, including photos, profile text, and messages (“User Content”). You represent you have the rights to share it. You grant Wooing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, translate, modify, reformat, incorporate, and distribute your User Content solely for operating, providing, and improving the Service, including safety and moderation, rendering derivatives such as thumbnails, and display and transmission through service providers. This license is sublicensable to our service providers only as needed to provide the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to legal retention and backups.

You authorize Wooing to send takedown notices on your behalf for off-platform misuse of your User Content, such as non-consensual reposts. We have no obligation to do so. Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by Wooing without compensation or obligation. You are solely responsible for any AI-generated content you create, upload, or share, including its accuracy and legality.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Misrepresent identity, age, employment, or intentions; impersonate any person; create fake profiles or catfish.
• Solicit passwords, OTPs, or others’ personal information; disclose others’ private information (doxxing); share, sell, or transfer accounts.
• Commit fraud or run pyramid, fake-giveaway, phishing, or money-solicitation schemes; solicit or finance political campaigns through the Service (sharing your own opinions is permitted).
• Copy Wooing content, create derivatives, imply Wooing endorsement, or otherwise violate the license in section 12.
• Scrape, crawl, or data-mine the Service; use unauthorized APIs; use unauthorized third-party apps, bots, or AI/ML tools; automate access or mass messaging.
• Introduce malware; forge headers; frame or mirror the Service; reverse engineer, decompile, or probe vulnerabilities; attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Encourage or facilitate violations of these terms; evade a ban by re-registering; file false or manifestly unfounded reports; abuse the appeals process.
• Violate any applicable law.

7. Prohibited content and use

You must not post, send, or display content that:

• Facilitates self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous challenges, violent extremism, or misinformation.
• Defames any person or harms Wooing’s reputation through false statements.
• Is commercial: sugar-dating, sex work, escort services, sales, advertising, external links to transact off-platform, or premium-rate numbers.
• Is spam or off-purpose use unrelated to genuine dating.
• Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Uses another’s likeness without consent, including deepfakes or edited images; shares non-consensual intimate images.
• Depicts minors: no unaccompanied or unclothed minors, and no childhood photos of yourself or others.

See our Community Guidelines for details. Nudity and sexually explicit material that conflicts with the Guidelines is prohibited.

8. Safety and offline meetings

You are solely responsible for your interactions, content, and any offline meetings. Wooing does not perform criminal or identity background checks, though we reserve the right to screen accounts for safety and legal reasons. We do not warrant any member’s conduct, identity, health, intentions, or compatibility with you. Meet in public first, tell a friend, and review our Safety Tips. Report concerns through in-app Report or to our Grievance Officer.

9. Moderation and enforcement

We apply a graduated ladder: warning → content removal or hiding → verification challenge → feature restriction or suspension → termination or ban. We may preserve evidence and cooperate with law enforcement where required. We may withhold reasons for an action where disclosure would risk safety, privacy, or an investigation. We are not obligated to restore accounts or content.

Appeals: you may appeal a moderation decision by emailing contact@wooingapp.com with your account details and the reason for your appeal. False or manifestly unfounded reports, and abuse of appeals, may themselves lead to enforcement up to a ban.

10. Third-party services

The Service uses third parties such as Google Sign-In, phone OTP providers, cloud hosting, media storage, and push notifications. Their terms and policies also apply to their processing.

11. Payments

No paid in-app features are currently available. If paid features are introduced, separate subscription and refund terms will apply and be presented at purchase.

12. Intellectual property

Wooing names, logos, and Site/App content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission except for personal, non-commercial use of the Service.

13. Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim responsibility for the accuracy of member content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wooing is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from interactions with other users, and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid for paid features (zero if you used the Service for free).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wooing, including for reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from your access to or use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these terms.

14. Termination and survival

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for safety and legal reasons. The user-content license (section 5) ends on deletion as stated there, except retained copies for legal retention, safety evidence, and backups; indemnity, limitation of liability (section 13), and governing law (section 15) survive termination.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to non-waivable statutory rights including under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, India, including the Calcutta High Court; the venue shall be Kolkata, India.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version and update the date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
