Account Deletion
Last updated: October 2026. You can delete your Wooing account at any time. Deletion removes your profile and dating data and ends your access to the Service.
How to delete your account
In the mobile app: open Settings, choose “Delete account”, and confirm. Your account is deleted after the confirmation step.
If you cannot access the app
Email contact@wooingapp.com from the email or phone associated with your account and request account deletion. We will verify your identity before processing.
What is deleted
Deletion removes your profile and your photos (including image files), likes, matches, and chat data tied to your account — not just metadata. Some data may be retained where required by law, for safety investigations, or in backups until overwritten on a rolling basis. Security logs may be retained for up to one year.
Timing
Deletion is processed as soon as possible after verification. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and may take longer. Deletion ends your access to the account and cannot be undone — a deleted account cannot be restored.
Grievance
If your deletion request is not handled, contact our Grievance Officer. See the Grievance page for escalation details. This does not affect rights under Indian law.
